    Thanks for this video. It was exactly what I needed to see. Since I already have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide 3%, this will make my life easy for disinfecting my bottles.

    For 30 years, we used salt & icecubes to clean all coffeepots every morning. It . disinfects, inexpensive, non-toxic & it works.

      as a working man who has never gone to the hospital. for the cuts or holes I've put in my body, I pry open the wound and soak all of them in peroxide and alcohol. the alcohol helps to remove any grease,oil, dirt that gets in there. I then run a bunch of peroxide through it and I have only had 1 cut get infected. i took a torch to a razor blade for a minute and reopened the cut. i cleaned it with peroxide. a couple days later good as new

    also, when peroxide (H2O2) is left in the sunlight, it turns into water ..so bonus! but how often should you clean your jugs?

    Is there a special attachment you would need to run a mower deck on a 770? I have one but did not know you could get a mower deck for them.

    • @bootsnixon
      @bootsnixon 4 роки тому

      Mine did not have a mid PTO but if yours does, then you would need the lift arms and mount bar so you could mount the mower and raise/lower the deck with the tractor's hydraulics. Without the mid PTO, I believe your only option would be a 3 PTH mower.

      Hot water + plastic + soap = everything that comes out of that bottle tastes like soap forever, because it's now bonded to the plastic itself and you can not remove it.

    • @MichelleOhio

      @@FoxHoundUnit89 You don't have to use soap...just hot water.

    Even better is mixing hydrogen peroxide and viniger! That produces “Peracetic acid” which is used by food industry to disinfect and it’s very powerful. It’s as powerful as bleach and safer because it converts back to viniger water and oxygen! Just don’t mix it with rice, rinse first with rice and soap. Dump it out, rinse and then use viniger and hydrogen peroxide. Equal parts!

    • @JoeyVX
      @JoeyVX 4 роки тому

      Allow the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide stand for few hours after mixing so they have enough time to fully react and form peracetic acid! Very powerful “Food grade” stuff!!

      @@JoeyVX how much peroxide and vinegar?

    • @JoeyVX
      @JoeyVX 4 роки тому

      J ABRAMS You have to mix equal parts. That’s if you are using 3% peroxide and 5% vinegar. Peroxide alone works very well and killing pathogens 🦠 but if you want that extra kick, you can prepare peracetic acid by mixing equal parts. Once you mix them in a spray bottle just leave the spray bottle alone with solution overnight. Remember to stir solution and do not shake as that can speed up the breakdown of the peracetic acid. It won’t last months, maybe a few weeks but As long as it smells like peroxide it should still be good. Do not use it on your skin, this is just to disinfect surfaces. Before pouring the solution in the spray bottle, make sure to add a bit of peroxide and vinegar in the bottle to rinse it and clean it out. In this scenario you can shake it and give it a few sprays and pour it out then pour in the peroxide and vinegar. For example, 450ml of peroxide and 450ml of vinegar. Stir, leave overnight and begin to use. Straight forward but just thought it be important to give you more knowledge in how to handle it properly. Good luck. If you have anymore questions just hit me up.

      @@JoeyVX I used it to disinfect my water containers. One glass and the other plastic. The glass one left a strong odor. Since I've washed multiple times and got rid of smell with water and lemon oil drops. Is it safe to drink from? And I did shake it. Next time I wont

    • @JoeyVX
      @JoeyVX 4 роки тому

      J ABRAMS As long as you rinse it out with water it should be fine but to neutralize the peracetic acid you can use baking soda. Just pour in some baking soda and water. Doesn’t have to be precise just until it stops fizzing. If you you use it to disinfect your gallons you can use the rice soap and water just to get any sediment and grime out. Rinse good then pour in the peracetic acid solution, once inside the water jug, you can shake it all want so that everything gets covered with the solution. You can leave the solution in there and shake it a few times every few minutes then once you feel it’s good enough you can rise it out. It’s very affective and works quick. Now after you rinse it very well and it still has smell don’t worry it’s completely safe. Specially after any residue has been diluted by the 5 gallons of water. But if you want to remove the smell completely just use baking soda. Baking soda is a base which neutralizes acids like peracetic acid. Very effective.
